Daily Doodle: Always rather liked Iruka. Don't care if other folks think he's boring. Also: too tired for inflection. Pose inspired by another Naruto fanart I saw (of Mr. Eponymous Himself), but I basically took he pose and changed the angle and rearranged the limbs a bit and I guess overall it's only similar in that he's doing a similar movement. Eh. I'm glad I got in an Iruka doing something vaguely interesting, not just standing there smiling doofily.

I hate those weird sandals everyone in Naruto wears.

Daily Doodle: Sakura/Sasuke. This pairing is pretty hot. But so is Naruto/Sasuke, gosh. Before anyone starts, I basically ship everyone up, down, and sideways, so I'm not taking no sides in that crazy debate. Still. Dear Kishimito: why so many hot people? Love, me.

Anyway, uh. Here's the thing guys. September kicked my ass, it was a terrible month. So, for most of September I basically wimped out and did busts. Busts busts busts! And I have kind of forgotten, um, how to draw BODIES? So I figured I better get back to that. And then of course I decided, straight off a body-drawing dry spell, to draw bodies INTERACTING from a weird perspective. A+ TO ME.

So... I think this cam out... okay for how rusty I am. Another round of cleaning might actually have made me like it. But I know it's problematic (and still welcome pointers on where/how). Please see: how I totally BLAAAAHHH'd the feet XD

But! I had fun! Which was nice! Also I have Sakura being totally in charge and Sasuke's shirt kind of coming off more than a little bit so uh... I don't think I can be too displeased? XD

Time: ~40 mins or something -- not forever but pretty damn slow!

Daily Doodle: Man, I love this guy. Him and Shikamaru. Damn. Well, I tried to do a little less static posing. This was originally a full-figure, but then I realized I would NEVER get that done within the time limit (someday!). So, just the top half. His hands came out too small I think? Anyway, I have this habit of focusing on the face a lot, trying to get the character on-model and then realizing, hoshit, I have to draw the rest and kind of... yeah.
Also tried a slightly different angle on the face, looking up the nose a little bit =P
I've been trying to have stronger, more confident, less sketchy lines, but it looks like today was not my day for confident lines! Better luck next time =P
