Fandom | Cast: Final Fantasy XII, Vaan.
Notes: Was having a super cranky afternoon, then saw this and decided that I needed to do that pose with a guy. I started just drawing it and it turned into Vaan. The ragedoodle looked okay, so I coloured it. The end. Took about an hour all told.

Uhhh I don't actually have much to say. If you have no idea why Vaan/Gabranth of all things, the pairings comes from a story I wrote for

ff_exchange, These Unending Alchemies of Honour.

Also, Noah's leathers can go die in a fire.

I think I'm due for some goats soon, though, I can't keep drawing big things every day XD

Daily Doodle: Man guys. This thing was NOT cooperating. I still don't like it but I am so done with trying to be creative today! Bad mood — unhappy with words, unhappy with arts, still utterly exhausted from this whole damn week.

This actually started out as just trying to get a handle on Noah, and then Vaan kind of happened. I'm a little distressed, because I keep thinking he can be mistaken for Balthier. His features aren't Balthier's at all (Balthier is way sharper), and I checked and checked my references and I'm pretty sure he's... fairly on-model. Fairly. I can't get his hair right. But true story, Balthier/Vaan is a pairing that, uh, more than four people have heard of, and Noah/Vaan isn't? XD (I love Balthier/Vaan, though, maybe I should draw them too just for contrast — see, see, THIS is what Balthier looks like when I draw him!)

Anyway. I just had a hard time today; I'm sorry if this is not awesome =|

I reffed this off a single screencap, which I hate doing, but I was too tired to come up with something original. I guess it's... okay? I'm kind of proud of it, maybe. I had, let us say, not much notice on doing this backup gift, so I had to scramble a little and ended up taking my idea from this piece of Moogle Fluff -- redrew it completely, cleaned it up, coloured it. I feel a little like a superhero. Guys, I did this in like four hours. Because that is how much notice I had. haha. yeah.

Daily Doodle: OKAY now that I am done making my own gift and have resolved my time management/tablet management issues, I can start making Moogle Fluff for

ff_exchange! I put more work into this than a regular doodle, since it's for someone, but still, very much a doodle. Took longer, too, possibly because there's three people in it :P

Lots of hand issues, I think, and something about Vaan's head/face just doesn't work. But I think I like this idea enough to clean it up eventually.
