[Daily Doodle] Sally Acorn from Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM/Archie comics 'verse)

Daily Doodle: Sonic was one of the great loves of my childhood! I LOVED the Saturday morning cartoon, and when I discovered there were also COMICS! Boy! That was pretty much it! I collected them, actually, and I still have Issues 0 - 70 or so of the main line and most of the side-series they did during that time. I have not kept up with it even a little; I lost a lot of interest once they stated Trying Too Hard to do video game tie-ins.

However! Back when I DID follow the series I ADORED Sally. She was AWESOME. She was a princess, but a capable, strong, smart, AWESOME one who saved everyone's asses a bunch of times and kicked butt and was basically the bomb. So here she is!

I used to draw Sally and Sonic and Tails and the gang a LOT! I should get back into that, or scan some of my mortifying old junk XD

I am actually... pretty pleased with this? I'm sure there must be problems, but I actually really like how this turned out, and gosh, I realize how long it's been since I actually liked one of my doodles like this! This one is going in the colouring queue =D
