filename WIP meme thing
I mean, everyone wants to know what I'm up to, right? You are all dying of curiousity right now aren't you.
Well, after a winter that was frankly pretty much ass, I need a little motivation. Dust off my breeches, wipe the bloody nose, flip life a big one and keep on trying.
SO the fun part is that 100% of my art and vid WIPs are inaccessible right now because HAHA COMPUTER DEATH. I mean, I think some of you out there must be starting to disbelieve me or something on the dead computer thing because whose computer dies this often. Look, I WISH I was lying. I really do! But true story. The desktop has been dead since the snowstorms swept through. Thankfully I now store all my fic drafts on the internets. So this is fic-heavy, because I can't remember all my art WIPs unless I open up the folder so they can stare me in the face and oh god I am such a procrastinating hack etc etc.
This is all stuff that has an actual file already. Ideas without files don't count.

[FFVIII] Same As It Never Was (Rinoa/Squall, Quistis/Rinoa, Laguna/Squall, Quistis/Rinoa/Squall, Kiros/Laguna)

The actual name of the verse in which These Unending Alchemies of Honour takes place. DID YOU KNOW IT HAD A NAME? Well it does.
Fic WIPs
[Avatar] Aegis of Maybes - Jecht/Zuko that has been sitting there mostly finished since the boat episode premiered. Not kidding.
[FFIV] Mortal Engines - being giftfic, it's a secret. Already at least 10K though, jesus
[FFVII] cloud/reno - uh, for when I actually play the game, but already there is a snippet with a story waiting >.>
[FFVIII] None of Us Saints - the non-incest version of Squall and Laguna. Begun before Honk was a glimmer in me and Sev's eye.
[FFIX] Revenant - Zidane and Oeilvert. hopes to be creepy.
[FFX] Lessons in Envy - Auron and being an unsent. not sure it'll ever be finished.
[FFX] Walk the Widening Spiral - AJB pilgrimage epic. And I do mean epic. Actually belongs in projects, but currently dormant. Lots of secrets I ain't telling though.
[FFX-2] white on white, and ever upwards - Yuna's thoughts on the White Mage dressphere
[FFXII] chcobo story - complete with typo. just a bit of fluff concerning class differences. in the form of chocobo riding. it makes sense, really. swear.

[One Piece] Untitled Angsty Thng - literally. I mean it. That's the working title. Previous working titles: "Angsty Meaningful Thesis-Title Totally Sets the Mood", "Shades of Shame", "Sin and Skin (lots of ghey)", and a triptych set consisting of "Sin in Skin", "Sink in Sin", and "Sink in Skin". AN MARVELOUS EPIC OF UNTOLD VIRTUE. Actually Iceburg/Franky, Iceburg/Lucci, Lucci/Paulie, Paulie/Iceburg in various degrees of reciprocation with a whole lot of truly fucked psychology. Really want to finish it someday and give it a decent title.
[One Piece] Ties That Bind - actually belongs in the Projects section, but is currently in hibernation. Another Water Seven epic, but with plot this time. Plays games with fabula vs suject progression (think Memento). Has spreadsheets, maps, sketches, and MORE SPREADSHEETS. I should put the best one up here sometime, just so everyone can see the ridiculousness.

[Pokemon] epic - the Ash/Gary futurefic epic that I am not in the least ashamed of. really plan to finish it someday.
[Vorkosigan Saga] Aral/Bothari - also not telling. for some reason I've titled the file this way, but it's actually also Aral/Ges and Simon.

[FFIV] rosa archer 00 - cleaned up version of this Rosa doodle. died in a hard drive crash, had to start over. I was really pleased with that version, too =\

[KHII] Surge - Axel/Roxas thing. Posted some WIPs to my journal at some point.
[Trigun] symmetry thing - diptych with Vash + Knives and Vash + Wolfwood. pencil, so for once not lost.

[Fullmetal Alchemist] miles scar - wordless vertical comic. Meet my other pet ship in FMA! haha god. digital, my first screentone experiment. rough inking stage.
[Harry Potter] sirius remus. also puppies - wordless comic. not its actual title. actually severely depressing. but does have doggies. inks. thumbnailed, no roughs yet.
[Final Fantasy] final family - NOT WORDLESS. so if any of you were on twitter when I accidentally was inspired to try a "Laguna and Jecht live together while raising Squall and Tidus" comic? uh yeah. it's actually happening. currently dumping background stories, research notes, and timelines here.

I am weirdly shy about sharing much info on these, including song choice. Because I guess I would like to actually finish a vid before... doing... that.

Ch 6-8, ~43K. At this point we realized chapters 8 and 9 were a mess and needed pretty much complete rewrites with a new subplot to keep track of. We took the problem chapters and dumped them in a new doc so as to not make a BIGGER mess here, so this is actually just 6 and 7 with like a snippet or two from 8. - [PROJECT: HONK] GREAT BIG HONKING MESS (Part 3)
Ch 10-20, ~20K. You MAY HAVE NOTICED that the first doc in this set has 5 chapters averaging over 10K, and this one has 10 chapters that apparently average 2K. Haha. That's cause we are terrible. The latter chapters will be about the same length, we just HAVEN'T PROPERLY WRITTEN THEM YET. In fact, chapter 13, even though we have it all outlined and stuff, is a COMPLETE BLANK in this document. As we were trying to fill in all the holes and map out which bits were missing in each chapter, we realized we needed another doc JUST TO KEEP TRACK OF THAT. In this doc, we post the scene-by-scene outlines of each upcoming chapter and claim/assign them to one of us to work on. Homework. Now that we've moved on to the second part of the story (YOU KNOW, THE ONE THAT'S NOT WRITTEN YET) we're also using this as our dumping grounds for outlining it in detail. - [PROJECT: HONK] WE ARE SO DUMB

Sequel to Alchemies and about ten times harder and at least three times longer. Very politics-heavy, attempts to tie together all Ivalice canons. Current doc is not even the story, just the setup: historical notes, setup for the Mercies plot, notes on characters and ships, and like the briefest outline in the world and this post is already 8K. Has tables, lists, and even a big map I cobbled together.
