i'm slightly homicidal, but only at my tree.

and my tree sucks.

but the tree sucks, the boat sucks, and it's not the fault of the people who built them, because *they* did a great job. lots and lots of thanks.

the boat just isn't a boat and the tree... isn't a tree.

and i'm shutting up now. too tired to not rant.

i have not seen your boat, so cannot say anything... however, it is the playwright's fault for being stupid enough to, as many have pointed out, "stage the first scene on a boat, and the entire rest of the show on an island."

as for the tree, your design seemed sound enough, judging from the model, and i am sure that it will look great.

as far as ordering people around... you may want to find a few people who are experienced in set construction, tell them what you want done, and either assemble or have them assemble teams that they can relay your instructions to.... it is called 'delegating' ... it saves many sanity...
