lisa or steene or page, prolly (all three are sca people) lisa - 28, computergeek, majored in textiles, wants to do stuff with restoring reallyoldbooks and such. superneeto crazy person. plays hockey and beats people with large sticks and dances and sings in her free time. and gives really good backrubs. and is probably the closest to a really unhealthy obsession i've had in a long time, seeing as she's 28, and currently dating.. steene - 32ish, not really sure. really really tall and silly and big and just cool. gives good backrubs, makes incredible cheesecake. 'nother geek. beats people with sticks and dances and is starting to learn fencing too. page - 35. has done almost anything that can be done with intelligence, bravado, and not a huge education. has been apprenticed to a silversmith, played eddy in rockyhorror (with his own sax and motorcycle), done bunch o theatre stuff (pyro!), freelance photography. (random factoid..the people he and lisa have dated overlaps a very impressive amount) currently..is one of myrkfaellin's fencing instructors, makes swords and jewelry, does freelance phtography, and is about to be fired by ritzcamera. gives good backrubs.
soyeh. they're all really spiffy people. and all give good backrubs. and are immensely silly. come to think of it, they're all attractive too. and geeky. i like silly people. and yes.
i shall try my very best... maybe some longish weekend - my parents don't like me missing school, even if i try to pretend it's for college investigation =(
adults. um. mr ellington, my director. he just turned fifty, and is the father of a good friend of mine. he's done everything; street performer, summer stock; he played ragtime piano in a jewish ice cream parlor once when he was really broke. he has a long, bright red beard (to make up for thinning hair on top, maybe?) and he can work a marx brothers routine into any conversation, and usually does. outstanding sense of the absurd, foaming-at-the-mouth democrat, really cares about the kids he works with and teaches. always available for college advice or acting advice or a random conversation about pretty much anything. sort of became a father-figure to me last year, when i was away from home and scared, but i mostly consider him a good friend.
Me! Unless I don't count. But I think I should, what with being 21 and all. Doesn't that theoretically make me an adult? Bleh. Anyhoo... I believe you had expressed an interest in watching Utena with us sometime? We are collecting peoples, should we try to include you?
Well, we're still working out a time actually. There's a longish thread on Meg's LJ about it, check it out. We might end up doing it after school this week, though it'd take a couple afternoons.
