apparently, along with various neurotic disorders, it is now fairly certain that i also have some sort of sub-level synesthesia (do not ask me what the hell "sub-level" is supposed to mean in that context; it seems to be a very odd way of saying "mild"). which explains why i often see sound without the benefit of acid. apparently, also, there is some study going on to investigate possible connections between the way synesthesia affects the mind and the subject of a discussion previously held in lalice's LJ about the nature of memory (particularly as far as visual, tactile, andd audible cues enter the mind in order to retain certain things).
this is part of the reason why i would have taken psychology if i had not been aware that several assholes were planning to sign up for it, and that Herndon almost always only has one period of psych.
