i can understand that, but people saying things like, "cool!" when they were watching the buildings collpase is NOT right.

I agree. The same thing happened in my grade. But, I think that when people say "cool," it really means that they're scared and not sure how to deal with the situation other than be "macho" about it. Just my opinion. But, tis stupid all the same.
