My parents wouldn't let me watch Cheers when I was a kid, but I loved the theme song so much that I'd lurk around the living room doorway for that part while they watched it. So yeah, never seen the show, still go around singing the theme song sometimes.

You know what, I seem to recall my situation being pretty similar! I don't remember if my folks wouldn't let me watch it or I was just not interested in the show itself, but I definitely lurked to listen to the song!
