Daily Doodle: My friend seems to be having a rough time! I know doodles can't really help, but it's pretty much my default mode of comfort? Zell is hard, but I tried, and even tried to go all the way down to his waist. Still not happy, but I think a good step in my planned progression into less boring doodles?
Time: 30 mins, hit the limit on this one, even if it doesn't look it. The hands did me in.

Thanks, though! I used to go through SO MUCH GARMENT-RENDING over Zell's hair (I've drawn him before) because it was suuuuuuch a biiiiiiitch. I love his hair but goddamn I could NOT draw it! When working on the last Zell drawing I did before this one I had some kind of epiphany about how to not screw up his hair, and I've been a lot happier with it since. And yes, it's lighter on purpose -- I am slowly learning to abuse custom brushes! whoo!

Anyway, uh! I am a little flaily/chatty myself today, sorry! It's good to hear from you, anyway =D

dude it's okay I haven't even started my monstrosity yet. I mean I plotted it out but omg it's going to take foreeeeeever I need to write tonight whyyyyyyy augh.
