Hokay. Here's the deal. I am tired of sucking at art. I will whine about that some time later in a separate entry. The point here is, I am to produce AT LEAST a doodle every day. The idea is for me to loosen up and just draw, and then show/give it to people, even if it's not the most wonderful art ever.

For this I need HALP.

I have plenty of ideas to doodle but my ideas get boring to me pretty quickly. This is where you guys come in. I need doodle requests!

I'm taking requests from any/all of my fandoms and, like, non-fannish stuff if it's interesting. The fandoms I can think of off the top of my head are:

In general: any subject, any rating, any pairing/threesomes/lack thereoef, any series (though if I'm not into it I'd appreciates reference pics) and I'll give it a shot. The idea is to get me to loosen up and not take art so damn seriously all the time. (This is the cue for half of you to go, "Wait, Ira takes things seriously?" and the other half to go "There's something that Ira DOESN'T take too seriously?")

Hokay so GROUND RULES:

- You can request things even if I don't know you. It's fine, really! Several of the people who've made requests here I only met that same day, though most of those were directed here via unrelated comment exchanges. But dude, if you've got a request, go ahead and ask! I gotta do this every day, you know?

- Anonymous comments/requests are fine! If you don't have an lj, just drop off an anonymous comment, preferably with some kind of signature or something so I know who to say it's for. If you're just shy, well then, uh... I don't know. I'd like some way of distinguishing you from everybody else, still. But not required or anything. This is all supposed to be pretty low-key.

- Request as many times as you like! Some people *cough* are shameless and have already done so three four five times when I haven't even finished the first one for most other people. This is fine! The more the merrier =)

- Please be aware that these are just daily sketches/doodles. If you would like to request something serious do it, uh, elsewhere. I love requests, but if you want something serious, then poke me somewhere else. Other lj entry, deviantArt account, whatever.

- Priority/ordering is random. Depends on what I feel like doing that day. I'll try to get to people who've been waiting first so roughly speaking if you got here earlier you get your doodle earlier, but it's not strict. The point is to make me loosen up about my art, not make me stress over due dates =P

- Consider your sketch gift art. Do with it as you wish. I'd like credit, though =D

- Sometimes I will ditch requests and draw something I thought up myself. Deal =D

Updates!

Aug 08: I promise a huge scandump tonight ;_; soon. *FAILS* Sorry. I've got the drawings, but I have a lot going on right now. Hopefully a lot of that will be resolved tonight (Tuesday) and then however that goes, I will at least have time to scan =P

Aug 10: Apologies to those who've requested that I haven't gotten to yet. This week's been rough and I refuse to try doing requests when I can't do them some sort of justice, so for the past couple of days I've been doodling for myself. Requests pick up again this weekend.

September 13: I AM SO LAME OH MY GOD I NEED TO SCAN!!!! I built up a backlog while I was on vacation and now the PILE sits there STARING AT ME. I have like almost 30 doodles to scan. Nooooo! For today, I'm putting up some digital stuff I did and a couple doodles I *did* manage to scan while on vacation. Everyone else, I promise I will scan soon. I'm going to post in chunks of about five, because I fear scanning and posting that BEHEMOTH of a paper pile all at once. And requests are still open -- I've worked my way through most of the list >.>
