Hey guys I am having a terrible day so that means it's time to pull up the Make Me Smile Files again. Fun fact: both songs/videos features to far have parenthetical subtitles!

But seriously this is awesome. I think my favourite is the skateboarding girl: her helmet is the best thing ever and she is just so unrepentantly feminine while doing her skateboarding thing. So awesome.

Lol, depression is like happy hour.

Have I recommended Kimya Dawson to you? I think I recommend her music almost every time people mention depression, but I can't help it because she writes about it spectacularly frank but uplifting way.

That is great. I like the gymnasts performing their art on everyday objects -- makes me think of parkour -- and yes, the skateboarding girl.

In the Spotlight video, I also really like how there are boys jumping rope, which is a feminine-coded-form of play. So there's a girl skateboarding and a lady with nunchaku, and also boys jumping rope =D
