See, this is what I thought, too, especially as how the last movie(s) is/are coming out and excitement over HP is still alive and well, if not at the deeply epic levels it once was. Though obsession_inc has some interesting thoughts over here (point 3) about the single-fandom nature of FA. Even if it's single-fandom, I still think that with a well-organized drive, it's entirely possible for FA to support itself.
