[Icons] FFX - Tidus 10 Variations

So, last week I made a few icons. Because that week was kind of not-good, the icons were rather dark and gloomy. I decided that I should do something more cheery this week. I love this pic of Tidus, and it's so sunny and bright that it's kinda painful. So I 10var'd it. I think maybe I'll do this to all of the pics in this series =D

Notes: My goal was to complete the challenge without making it look forced -- each icon had to use whatever device it was required to, but it should look like I would have used it anyway. Does that make sense? How'd I do?

01: Smile/Strength
For some reason I really really like this one.

02: ever onward
I like how the first "e" in "ever" hangs over the border XD

04: a dream has no reflection
Without being spoilery, I am theorizing that the... stuff... half-visible in the clouds behind him is a dream. And look! No reflection! I'm CLEVER.

05: mother's eyes/father's heart.
I REALLY like the idea behind this one -- Jecht had red eyes, so Tidus must have gotten his from his mother. However, his mother buckled under her grief, while he stood strong and fast, like Jecht did. It took me many tries to iconize this idea in a way that didn't look ugly, and I'm still not satisfied. I might just end up ficcing the idea instead.
