"Without evidence, claims about self-help products are nothing more than marketing strategies. It is invalid to say that because scientists have been unable to prove that whales are not telepathic, whales must have this ability. The "you can't prove it's wrong" list is infinitely long. If scientists want to argue for the telepathic ability of whales, then it is their responsibility to present evidence for such an ability."

The whales are telepathic because they don't want us to find out so they try to hide it, so whenever they realize we're coming close (they can read our minds, so they know) they start conspiring and coming up ways to make us go "oh wait, that doesn't work..." Like the psych book....
